tranny question?

Got my 97 4wd about a month ago or so. Im going to start doing performance mods soon. My question is, The person that I got the truck from used it mostly to tow his race car trailer, the tranny is rebuilt or new in the past 5-10k miles, they put a high rpm tourque converter in it for towing. I was looking at valve bodies to help out the tranny.
Will the high rpm converter be hard on the tranny when i add power to the truck?
or any other ideas for what I should do?
thanks

Never heard of a high RPM TC..maybe a high stall but thats the wrong type for a deisel street truck.

BTS has a VB for about $225 that he will tune for your mods..best thing you can do.
