Injectors for best mileage?

with my clock about to turn 400k i think im long due for injectors amongst other things does anybody have any recommendations? im getting about 13-14.5 mpg right now

First of all and second I don't have any experience with Diesel injectors but I have heard as long as you can keep your foot out of it Stage 1 should be no problem in affecting milage. Baby swamps are pretty popular as are rosewood injectors

once you start doing performance injectors you can control your mileage with your right foot.

My stage ones and custom tuning get much better mileage than i ever got with my stock truck!

ok thanks now i heard rosewood does rebuild kits for the "do it your selfer" does anybody know of any other companies?? i like to sift through my options before my final decision

There is a place in North Carolina that does them for kinda cheap but none are as cheap as RDS! You can get a stage 1 injector for around 600..... if you do it yourself its like 450 or something!

But then stage 2's are only like 8xx

hell if the truck still gets 13-14.5 mpg I would leave the SOB's in there and run about 10 oz of Lucas fuel treatment every tank. it will improve your milage and prolong the life of your injectors.

Also when doing oil changes use Standadine oil additive it does wondes for your HPOP and injectors.

But if you are looking for more performance go for the injectors. If i simply was worried about milage and injector life, iwould stick with the additives and regular oilchanges.

oh yes of course this truck has its oil changed religiously with the fuel filter every 3k miles and yes im looking for mor performance as well my plans are the adrenaline, stage ones, ts 6-way, full fuel system from diesel site, banks intercooler, solid mass conversion. then down the road i want to do mods for fuel capacity and tranny overhaul and custom traction bars because i already broke a pinion yoke doing a burnout. (DRW and massive wheel hop do not mix )
