IDM help

My swamps modded IDM just got here...

Is it as simple as unplugging the old one and putting the new one in its place?

Do batteries need to be unplugged or anything? thanks

yep Id unplug them to be safe, then just take off two of the bolts that hold the IDM in, the lowest one does not need to be removed

Then undo the 10mm bolt on the wiring harness that holds it in and pull it out

You can buy rebuilt ones cheaper than new ones you know... just tryin to save him some money. I know college is tight and i hate spending money on 'fixing" the truck, i'd rather be upgrading
