My swamps modded IDM just got here...
Is it as simple as unplugging the old one and putting the new one in its place? Do batteries need to be unplugged or anything? thanks |

i would unplug the batteries.

yep Id unplug them to be safe, then just take off two of the bolts that hold the IDM in, the lowest one does not need to be removed
Then undo the 10mm bolt on the wiring harness that holds it in and pull it out |

You can buy rebuilt ones cheaper than new ones you know... just tryin to save him some money. I know college is tight and i hate spending money on 'fixing" the truck, i'd rather be upgrading

yeah he can get a new one off ebay for 140 shipped, which isnt bad at all

no thats not bad at all!! Matt keep your eye out for me if you could for a 17* hpop. I got a CEL the other night with these swamps tunes.... I have never really been in open country where i can go 0-100 with constant WOT, and it definitely threw a code around 80
