egt gauge

i bought gauges for my truck and for the egt im gunna put it in my manifold but does it matter what cylinder i put it in on a 97 f350?

Put it behind the last cylinder on the drives side.

You can also drill and tap the collector. It's a pretty easy spot to get at. I put mine there cause I figured it would give a little more acurate reading.

go to dieselmanor.com they have install photos for sd 99-03 with 7.3 it will show you where to drill and tap for pyro probe
