Some Updating and upgrading

Well It it is time i say. Time to go through the top end of the motor. I am sick of all the oil leaks and fuel leak but I figured instead of just replaceing why not do some upgrades. I tow with my truck but its also my daily driver I look for power but also an efficant truck.I am not looking to hit the track or blow smoke everywhere even though with what I listed I will somewhat. I usualy post after when I am done but I am posting now to get some opinions on my choices remember I am on a budget. So here is the list.

new Glowplugs
Dorman Valve cover gasket with UVCH
can't afford new injectors so I will either leave them alone or buy Rosewood DIY
Adreniline HPOP with new oil lines
Carter Lift pump
Turbo o rings and pedistal orings
Fuel filter housing o rings
Either beans IDM or Swamps IDM

All in all I will be dong a TW chip in the future and if I don't touch the injectors I will be buying stage 1 Have some other plans not listed but far into the future anys open to opinion I still got a chevelle to put together

if you plan to tow with it and want to upgrade injectors i would do an intercooler, thats one thing i wish i had done to my obs, i had stage 2 with no intercooler n she got hot fast towin, not very useful for for constant towin

Actually will be doing a 6.0 intercooler with homemade piping that was for future but hey I might do it this run if the price is right

Well instead of buying a carter mech fuel pump I have been convinced to go electric so I will be post pics of everything above plus the conversion

Today I bought My fuel/Water seperator and my fuel filter



Then I ordered my stanadyne 33640 base and my perma cool base along with my new oil filter for when I do m oil change. more will come soon

Well today I bought a SD pump with harness and recieved my Stanadyne base and modifyed it to fit the cat filter here are some pics





I canceled my order for the perma cool base cause it wouldn't arrive till mid next month so I got a wix 24770 through a local parts store it will be here tuesday

Well some updating for you I got the unit finished just need to get bolts to bolt it on the frame and plumb it in I just forgot which line to cut into. But here she is in place




Next I got the turbo off deffinetly was apain so now you can see the oil and grime



I did the fuel pump off and the 7/8 freeze plug installed but I will get pics as soon as I get the valley cleaned up

got my pump out and Ipr Ready to ship as a core when my new pump comes in
