Fixed me exhaust

So about a week ago I got a call from a friend at like 2 am, he goes the I'm stuck in field bad can you come get me out. So I go and get him, going through this field my exhaust gets hung up and on something and rips, my truck gets really loud in the cab all of a sudden and I get under the truck and the exhaust is hanging there detached from the down pipe. So today I rewelded the exhaust back on to the down pipe and after driving with just a down pipe on it for a little while I noticed with the exhaust system hooked completely back up it feels like it has more power and I dont know if its just me but I make closer to 19psi of boost when before I was making around 13 to 15. I just thought it was kind of weird
