17* HPOP

I am looking to buy one so if anyone has one or knows of one for a good price let me know!

I found one for $50 (which i know is a great price) but the engine had caught fire and got hot. The guy knows the IPR is bad but he thinks everything else is good becaue he tore it all down and it seems to be good.

can someone that knows more than me school me on HPOP's.. is it safe to buy one that has been heated up? Could that hurt something

The HPOP itself was never on fire or anything it was at the back of the motor

I dont know but sounds like it not really worth the risk of you taking urs off and installing it and it not working. If i were you i would just wait till you find anther one that you know is in a good working condition.
