Tow Beast

I'm getting ready to do some big mods on my 96 CC.
I want to make it faster, but need it to be a strong towing truck (I pull a 15K gooseneck) and super reliable. I don't want to hurt my mileage either.

So, here is my list of goodies to buy:

1) H2E unmodded
2) stage 1 injectors
3) aluminum 7.3 intercooler (actually just purchased)
4) adrenaline hpop

Let me know what you guys think, and if anyone has run a setup like this before.

when you buy the turbo..make sure to buy the pedistol too because it won't bolt up

I was thinking to get the H2E in kit form.
It looks like Dieselsite might have the best price.
Anyone else have better pricing?
I think they have it for $2,2xx.

Got my H2E at dieselsite, best price I could find
I'd say you should be fine with a 17* hpop, or is the adrenaline that economical?
Chip? gauges?

I think the adrenaline is $500 something, and I want room to grow.
Thinking to go with TW chip.
I've got boost, pyro, and trans temp autometers.

You're pretty much going to have the same setup I have. Truck goes like hell, tows like it's not pulling anything, and if you can keep your foot out of it, fuel economy is good.
One future mod I'd suggest is a new fuel system with electric pump to have a good steady flow and pressure to the injectors.

That h2e is going to be plenty of turbo for stage 1s.

cost wise, a 17*hpop will run up to stage 2 sticks......
Have to agree with alberta7.3, fuel system upgrade.

The bigger question would be whether the OBS Stage I's were enough for the H2E. Stage I's in an OBs aren't even as large as stock late model injectors. That might be a bit luggy for the heavy hauling.

On another note, there is no comparison between the stock late model HPOP and the Adrenaline in towing power.
