Gauge Mounting in OBS

I was wondering if anyone has gauges mounted in their obs right above the cd player with the gauges kinda angled back towards the driver. I want to put mine there. Might have to do a little custom deal to make it work though.

Where do ya'll have them mounted other than on the pillar?

Yea just picked up a OBS saturday. Probably gonna sell the SD. The OBS has 200k less miles on the motor and only 25k on a new tranny

I know some people take the gauge pod that goes above the rear view mirror for a SD and put them in the OBS. The only other ones I have seen are the pods that sit on the dash behind the radio.

I might not need to put it on the dash though because of the defroster and such.

There is a 3 hole pod made that fits perfectly just above the radio. It doesn't block anything. It can be made to work for 2 5/8 gauges too. I have Autometer Pro Comp Liquid Filled 2 5/8 in mine. Got it from e-gauges.com.
