Remote start questions?

Alrighty boys. Looking into getting a remote start for my 97 F250.. Who's got one and how do you like them. What brands?

Near future plans for the truck include TW chip, exhaust downpipe, intake, guages, lift.. etc etc.. Will any of the electronic stuff interfere with the remote start?

Thanks,
Charlie

I have a Compustar starter in my 96. It works perfectly. Never had any issues. My wife has a compustar in her jeep for 3 years. Never any issues. It has a wire dedicated to the glow plug light, and waits till it goes off to start.

I've got a Viper on mine now. It's kind of cool with the remote that shows you what sensor tripped the alarm and it has a ton of functions. Had a Clifford before that worked pretty well. It started off in my '94Ranger with a 5 speed and it's going in my Explorer one of these days.
