Anyone with a TW chip

So I am with this paycheck probly gonna buy a TW chip, Ive been told that you have to have stock as one of your settings to let the motor and oil warm up before you can change to any settings is that true?

And also what are people seeing for mileage in economy setting?

You dont have to have a stock setting if you dont want. I see around 19 in economy... also on 35's though

So when Im warming up my truck I dont need to put it on stock? I dont exactly know why I would but its just what I was told. I am thinking about only getting probly 4 positions on the chip

i have high idle on my bullydog and use it for warmups, idles 1100-1200 rpm, highly sugggest it

I just warm mine up on economy. I use high idle when I need it to warm up quicker

I was thinking of getting daily, extreme, economy, and tow. Do you guys know if later I decide to change a position or add one if they can do that or not?

and is extreme pretty hard on the motor?

thats def not true... and actually i try and tell people not to get a stock setting.... i think its a waste....

go with the heavy tow as it provides more power and the street

yah i would go with heavy tow and i would take off the econo and put street in there.... you will prob always be in one of the higher settings... i dont take mine off of street

The reason I got my economy tune is because of my stage I's... all other settings that are higher than economy smoke like no other and I dont want to go around smoking the road out all the time. The economy setting, allows me to have a significant gain over stock without alot of smoke. It does have some smoke but not crazy like, just how I like it. And when Im feeling crazy and the road is clear of all traffic I will switch over to street or extreme and hammer down. Very intense gains over stock, just have to use them wisely and kindly.
