Edge Evolution

I found one that says it will fit 94 and up Powerstrokes part number 15000 is the new part number old part number EEF1000.....its used....whats it worth? how well do they work? Ive never used any Edge products....its for on my 97

New Workhorse 2011 F450 V10 4x4 w/ Reading Classic II work body, 19.5's with SIMS, Boss 9'2" Poly VXT plow, XL badgeing with all XLT options but with a rubber floor.

They dont have programming in them for transmission shifts. They are known to burn up trannys like no other... ask me how I know. I would steer clear of them. Much better products out there for the money

Yes SIR I had one dont get me wrong they Gave alot more power but its not good for the tranny. After I got tony's tune it blew edges crap away!!!!

I havent really checked....I think my truck has a Superchips chip now....dont know what it is though....it had Superchips stickers on the truck when I got it, and it smokes more than a stock truck ever would....not much...but more than stock.....its not doing anything for the trans either....I want a TW or DP but $$$$ is always the issue....I asked about this because it was pretty cheap for the Edge....now I see why

I am thinking that edge is what has damaged my tranny as well.

edge gave me good power on my 01 but cost me 4k for a new tranny not a very good trade haha. the one thing worse than an edge is a superchips haha

Is there any problem running and edge evolution on a manual trans? I mean since its not programmable anyway, is there still a problem running this programmer on a manual trans?

i dont think so i think its a good programmer and its pretty safe other than trans tuning
