more power for the least cost

im looking to get more power out of my truck but as of right now i cant afford a chip or anything along thoes lines...

is there any minor tweeking i can do to get some power out of her at all?

Resistor mod? Someone posted a write-up for it specifically for an OBS somewhere in "5.6k vs 10k" thread, I'm pretty sure.
