DIY INTAKE
I did the diy intake mod the other day. im not going to bore everyone with the details of how i did it since we all know the basics of it. but I wanted to show it off a bit

Don't think I've seen pics of anybody doing the DIY with anything but the 6637 filter (which is huge). mike |

ok so call me dumb(new to the powerstroke world) i know what size and kind of filter to get, but what size pipes did i need to get so i can do this to my 95 7.3?

Looks good!
and I felt like the big filter was getting squizzed between the battery, fuse box, inner fender and hood. The tapered filter seems to work GREAT! I have a 4" long piece of 4" dia. S.S. exhaust pipe hidden between the hose and the filter.![]() I got more air to it by doing the HankDaddy ![]()

awesome, thanks for the info guys.....and Hank, i see your a cpa member? i go to school with a guy named chuck with one of those stickers on his truck, thats how i heard about this website. He has a white 96 with smokers on it
