Air Box

I was wondering if anybody has the factory airbox for a 1996 or 1997 F-250-350 powerstroke. Really all i need is the lid and the intake peice that sucks the air. i have the bottom of the box. thanks for any help.

Do yourself a favor and misplace the bottom half of the stock filter box in the same place you left the old lid. For about 50 clams you can make a far superior open element intake set up.

you all know my opinion on aftermarket air boxes.....but if your gonna do one.....DONT buy a 50 dollar one....at least get a name brand product so you know you wont be risking dusting your motor....just my .......Marc

marc, this is what we're talkin about. its not some el-cheap-o brand that doesent work right. it's a good mod. i did it and i would 'nt do any thing that woould possibly hurt my baby.

ok.....as long as the filtration media is the same.....your just increasing airflow via surface area and not by "larger" holes for the air to go through.....as long as the filtration quality is as good or better........i must say i like it.......Marc

when I said I was going home made I meant just like the tymar. with the large napa filter and mandrel bent hose.

I didnt say buy a 50 dollar box, I said make a 50 dollar open element filter. Staying with the stock box is much more of a risk to your motor. JMHO.
