Sacked out drivers side bench options

Hey,
What's the best way to fix/replace my single cab bench seat. The cloth is in good shape for the year but the foam on the drivers side is totally pooched.
Thanks
Eric

Swap the foam with a junkyard seat, or get some new(er) seats

Keep watching the for sale section. When an interior sells, often the seller wants to get rid of his front and rear seats but usually the buyer only wants the front seats. The rear seats of the crew cab 4 door truck ought to be very close to your front seat. You might be able to team up with another buyer and also make the seller happy too.

Just a thought.

I envy those that know exactly which modification to make and in the most logical of sequences. But not enough to trade for my meanderings and misfires.

1996 F250 crew cab/short bed, 4x4, auto PSD, 6637 air filter, interior grab handles, stainless window vents, remote door locks work with engine running mod.

Thanks all,
I took the seat all apart and did some old school Oxy/Acetylene weld repairs to the back frame. Then took it all to a local upholstery shop to get the upper and lower foam rebuilt, the springs redone, and the seat ribbing re-stitched with new foam. The cloth is actually in pretty good shape so it will stay for a while. I think the cost for the upholstery shop is going to be about $350.
Cheers
