Is it a factory head unit, you shouldn't have to remove the dash for anything other than major wire surgery or additions to said harness

They sell a tool at most stores (walmart) to remove the head unit or you can bend up a coat hanger for it

Pop your glove box out and take a look at the side of it, there are tabs on both sides that will pull out and the head unit should slide out from that point

Just buy the removal tool off somewhere like ebay. Shouldn't cost more than a few dollars for the special tool. Way better than taking the dash completely out

They keys aren't much to buy but you can make do with other things like a few skinny precision screwdrivers to release the clips. Also buy the harness that plugs into the factory radio plug. It will make your life very easy as you can wire up the two harnesses on a work bench and just plug it in

I bet if you went to a local stereo shop and asked nicely they might pull the stereo out for you. It literally takes 5 seconds to pull the stereo out with the right tools.
