door handle

anyone know how to "upgrage" the handles i broke mine yesterday. cheap *** plastic

metal handles in the "Help" section of auto store work great. While you have it apart, tighten screws and grease everything.

'97 XLT F-350 Crew Cab LB, 240,000 miles, 20x10 MB Rocker Rims, with TOYO 35x12.50x20, tool box, Swamps TS tuner, MBRP exhaust S&B Intake, Auto Meter gauges.

There is a reason your plastic handle broke
The cable is stretched or your door is cracked. They are the ONLY 2 reasons the OEM handle brakes.

If you put the metal handle on you WILL tear the door

What really suks is when the door brakes at the handle mount instead of the handle breaking

if your truck handle gives you troubke, take pnnel off. my assembly was loose with hardened dried out grease. tightened up, cleaned, with new grease still broke the old week plastic handle. i replaced with metal, works great.

on the handle mount braking, role window down and use outside handle.
