Could be a few different things. Are the lights HID? Sometimes HID's produce enough interfearance to cause weird things like shutting off your radio. The next thing I would do is replicate the issue with a multimeter hooked up to both the power and ground that the radio is using. Watch for the voltage to drop. If the voltage drops when you turn the lights on, isolate the issue. Start by moving the multimeter ground to the chassis and see if the voltage still drops, then move it back to the radio ground and use a different power source to check for voltage drop. If another power source is also dropping voltage then start looking at chassis grounds, battery connections and the alternator.

Also check the headlight harness, it draws a lot of power, a few guys have just wired them to a relay to draw straight from the battery instead of the switch
