SPRAYIN the Guage Pod... any tips on product

Just got guages and a pod. Unfortunately the pod came in black with no color option. What have you guys used for paint to spray your pods? I have gray interior on a 97 OBS....I would appreciate some insight

you can get the paint from your local auto parts store... take a piece of the interior like the pillar so you can color match it.. make sure its a vinyl type paint

When i ordered mine they painted it for me. but i would try the parts store and ask for some interior paint or a paint that bonds to plastic good. and try to match it up the best you can!

Use plastic primer or plastic spray paint for your primer... then TRY to mach your color. Mine came out a little shinier than the original 10 year old plastic... hardly noticeable, probly just by me bc I know it is.

Make sure you clean the pod real well to get hand oils and such off of it. The lady at home depot said vinager and water... I tried it and it worked well.

I went to an automotive paint store and they custom matched my color off my door code and then mixed me the exact match in a spray can. IIRC the can of paint was about $15 but was more than enough to do the pillar pod.

took my ashtray in to Orileys, they matched it. I used a dye rather than spray paint.
