Look on the decal in the drivers side door jam. It will have info about your truck, including the code for interior color... int. You can take that code # to a parts store, auto paint store, and look your truck up by year in their color match book/display. You can also email ford and send your vin#. They'll get back with you...code and color name. Also take the vin# to a ford dealer. I sent the email to ford, and about 2 days later got my code. I also went the route of looking the color code up at a parts store.

Eventually took my ashtray to ORiley parts, and they color matched. No one made the correct "blue" I needed. ( I didnt check with the dealership, figuring it would cost an arm and leg. ) They mixed a dye, instead of paint. For a few bucks more, they could have put it in an aresol can, but said the dye would come out better if done by hand.

Oriley auto parts custom makes paint colors or dyes?

Yea, they did for me. I dont know if all the Orileys have a paint center to do it for ya. If you go with the dye, use a sponge paint brush. It seemed to do the best. I'm sure some others here have more experince with this matter, and probably tell you what they recommend for the job. This was my first time trying to dye anything.
