08 Buckets and console are installed

I got a chance to install my new set of seats today pretty straight forward install

I had to completely rewire the drivers seat harness due to the memory on them

I did not have time to run the new power harness to the seats as of yet that will have to be the next step of the project i ran out of time this weekend

Good work! Did you use photobucket? If you did, use the image code not the image thumb.

This is awesome...I am looking to upgrade my vinyl bench seats in my 2004 to 08 or later buckets. Surely these did't bolt right in. What kind of fabrication did you have to do?

Looks good, kinda funny having memory power seats and crank windows tho lol, but you did a great job, I got to re attempt mine Kause the seats are not quite level and you can tell after about an hour, but first 20 minutes they are 10 times better

they are a tight fit..... I took my time inside the cab with the seats loose and powered them back and forth a few times

Having the stick there i wanted to make sure I could install everything without modifying the console mounts.

I`m 6`1 so I powered them back on the tracks as far as they would go then set them in out of reach of the pedals. I then powered them into a comfortable driving position

where i have them mounted just touches the belt retractors on the B pillars of the truck fully extended

powerstrokesoldier yours should be a direct bolt in unlike mine

351 mine are the same as yours the front outer mounts on both drivers and passenger are going to get aluminium spaces installed I took measurements before i tightened them down

I used 7/16 bolts with 1 1/4 washers on top and 1/14 washers and lock washers on the bottom side to make sure they were mounted securely

the only crappy thing about the seats was the memory on the drivers seat
you cannot get power to it with the drivers seat memory module
so I tore the drivers harness apart and copied the passenger harness
I depinnnd all the connectors and resodered and shrink tubed all the wires

I have never liked power windows really so no big deal for me lol

and I fixed the pictures lol I didn't look at the post after I submitted it
