97 driver's door won't open from the inside.

Started about two weeks ago. I'd have to pull the handle a couple times and it would open fine. Now it just won't open. Is there an adjustment on the cable?
Opens from the outside no problem.

on most obs trucks all the way up on the inside door handle is to far? try pulling it up all the way then letting it down a little bit... I usualy just push out on the door while im pulling the handle to find the G spot.

ya take the panel off and youll see the opening lever adn youll see were the door handle is attached and then were the cable hooks. take a screw driver and open the gap up. kinda hard to explain but thats what i had to do to mine after i broke the door handle off

OK Lads! Ripped the panel off today, added a "spacer" to the end of the cable(the mount looks normal) The cable must be stretched. Then fashioned a piece of angle with a bit of heater hose on it for looks...door works better than new now. I just have to "look" at it the right way and the door opens on my command. Just like my women! Alright!

Take the door skin off and shim the cable where it connects to the handle with a washer or nut and then put it all back together and it will work better than new, just look at it and itll open for you
