40/20/40 color exchange or dye?

I have a good shape blue 40/20/40 seat and pan that I plan to put in the rear of my crew cab. Problem is the seat is blue and my interior is gray.

Does anyone have experience dying the darker blue fabric to the gray?

Or should I find someone that wants to swap fabric or seats?

Many thanks!

I bought the set primarily for the seat pan, figuring I could solve the color problem later. I'll pick up the seats in a few weeks and will have to separate the seat pieces from the pan for storage.

Maybe they unbolt into pieces small enough to ship relatively cheaply?

And I'll look to see how hard the fabric is to remove. I am pretty sure the seats are rather easy, the center fold down piece may be a challenge. The thought is to be able to ship just the fabric to/from someone else that needs only a color change.
