headliner problem

So im redoing my headliner cause it was sagging pretty bad. Some spots like under the flip down visors were still attached. So my question goes out to those who have redid their fabrics. When you do them, do you leave the existing foam on there or just reattach the fabric straight to the cardboard backing? Some of the foam is trying to come off with the existing fabric and im wondering if i just screwed myself.

I was thinking that. I know it would be way easier cause i wouldnt have to worry about preserving that stupid foam

It works great. I have the generic tunes cause i dont have injectors yet but it really does wake the truck up. I keep it in 140 the whole time lol. I cant stand going back to stock position cause it feels like im not going anywhere. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

lol ya i just order ed mying to day i want more git up and go lol.... ya its ok i only got like one littile crease but it liike alot better that what it did i looked on lmc truck and they want like $200 for a new one i was like hell no i rather have no headliner then pay 200 for a new one..lol

You wont regret it. I mounted mine right above my window controls on my door. Just fed the wire thru the rubber boot in the door. Clean look and easy to change settings.
One more question about the headliner. You use regular fabric or that foam backed interior fabric?

regular my sis bf helped with it to ... he re duzz alot of headliners and seats to..... where u from any ways..
