Pillar Guage Pods

Anyone know of the most inexpensive place to get those pillar-mount guage pods? At one time I had a website bookmarked, but I lost it.

I got mine through Motorhaven - don't recall exactly what I paid but I know I had shopped around for awhile and it was the best deal at the time. You're going to LOVE the A-Pillar gauges! Let me know if you get 'em and would like some install tips.

I'm looking for one also. Choices look a little limited for my '97. I'm most interested in the tranny temp. I don't intend to run it too hard but with a 15,000# gooseneck hooked on I get a little leary of the automatic transmission. I talked to a tranny guy. He said that with the E4OD there should be no trouble pulling in overdrive as long as you watch the tranny temp. I guess I'm leary of it. I smoked a '94 Chevy transmission pulling a 5th wheel trailer in OD across the flats of North Dakota. The tranny guy said the Ford transmission is totally different that the Chevy. Looks like top speed in 3rd gear will take me a lot longer to make a trip (62mph). I'm having a new acctuator block put in that will up the pressure and change the shift points. Hope it works.

Been cruising all day on the internet. Amazing all the different places to find information and products for these machines.

I can see where this truck could become a bad, expensive habit.

rodslinger what gauges did you have put in since the 6.0 have tranny temp did you do boost, exhaust temp?

I put in the EGT, turbo and tranny temp. Even though it already had a turbo and tranny temp, I wanted the triple pillar and plus the aftermarket gauges are much more detailed.

If you use an Edge Evolution programmer, one of the features is a built in readout of tranny temps. FWIW
