installing power windows in rear doors
Hey guys, this new truck I got has power on the front and manual rear, i thought someone had converted the front but the truck my buddy borrowed was the same way. So, long story short I want to put power windows in the rear since the replacement door panel i have is for a 4 window setup. Are the rear doors the same from power to manual??? Can I just pull the regulator and install the power unit???
TIA |

i dont think the wiring or connectors are there for the rear motors......and the regulators are different for a manual crank and a power...would bolt right in if you had all the pieces, but you would have to get switches and run all the wiring for the switches and motors.....

I was thinking about using the "old style" GM window switches and just mount them in the hole where the crank was. As long as the "frame" inside the door is the same it should be a cake walk.
