How to open door

I'm thinking the linkage fell apart inside the passenger rear door of my crew cab can't use inside or outside door handle to open door figured I would pull seat out drivers door to remove door panel well now same thing happened
To drivers side wondering if anybody has had to deal with this problem

actually funny thing, one guy had that happen a few months ago, have you tried pulling the lock up kause sometimes the power locks in the rear go out, just pull it up and see if that alleviates your issue

The knobs thread down on, sometimes you can get on them if you unthread them a little to give you something to bite on. Should just be able to pull it up with some pliers.

This happened to me too on the rear pass. Door. The lock rod was missing the top screw down piece and it had dropped under the top of the door panel. I ran to autozone and got some lock tops or whatever they are called never had that problem again

Ford has had the feature that you can still OPEN the door from the inside EVEN if the door is LOCKED

WRONG. I have never been in an OBS crewcab that cannot be opened from the inside when locked, INCLUDING Both of my Current crewcabs.. There is NO child safety feature in these trucks

crazy canadian is correct mine would not open from inside or outside used a needle nose to pull up on doorlocks doors opened right up. now i just need to get door panels off sometime and see if they are just gummed up or if actuators are bad.

My rear doors DO NOT OPEN WHEN LOCKED, mine is a 97 and a handle has been stretched to prove
