Left blinker & brake lights don't work (help!)

My left blinker and brake light don't work. They were working before I sprayed some pivot grease into the blinker lever's hinge. I sprayed it in there cause my blinker lever wasnt movin smoothly. Could this have caused the lights to not work anymore?? Also my instrument panel lights don't work either.

I really need to fix this cause I'm wantin to get the truck inspected soon.

Any help will be apperciated.

Thanks

Pull the column pieces and check for loose connections. Also check the connector that runs down to the brake pedal.
