Extended Cab rear speakers?

So i want to replace the rear speakers in the pillar of my truck. I think theyre like 5x7 stock but i have a set of 6x9's laying around. Anybody know if i can make them fit?

I was able to fit 6x9 Alpine's in mine without any modification, however I did have to get new screws. Hope that helps

Go over to the Crutchfield site and input your vehicle info....go to the 6X9 speaker section and it will tell you if they will fit or not.

the real issue is the depth of the speakers due to the magnet size. i got 5x8's that barely fit because of how thick the magnet is.

crutchfield should be able to help you on which sizes will work. I've used crutchfield for several cars and I'm very pleased with them
