dash lamps

what lamps are in the insturment cluster?

wanting led lamps.

Old fat guy with stock truck.(not for long)

95 cclbdw 2wd
6.0 fuel pump and fuel bowl delete ( have all parts need time)done
6.0 intercooler ( have all parts need time)
4.7 zenner mod
IDM 75k mod
Ts 6 position chip
just acquired a long block( wide open performance is on speed dial)
800hp here i come (in 5 years or so)

lol, make sure you use superbright ones, just regular ones leave dark spots, i know from experience, and it was just to much of a pita to swap again since i didnt need to pull my dash no more lol

How in the F do you get the head light switch off to pull the rest of the dash out?

Early 99, 6 speed, ccsb, leveling kit on 35's, 6634, straight pipe, diablo chip.

The knob has a release style spring which locks on the switch stem
Pull switch and release the knob .

Ya the spring locks into a groove on the shaft if I remember right. I used a small stiff wire and bent a U in it and that did the trick for me. Good luck

Thanks guys, gonna give this a shot tonight. Anybody know off hand how many bulbs total are in the instrument cluster?

Also, don't forget to test your set-up before reassembly. LED's are diodes and only work in one direction.
