what lamps are in the insturment cluster?

wanting led lamps.

lol, make sure you use superbright ones, just regular ones leave dark spots, i know from experience, and it was just to much of a pita to swap again since i didnt need to pull my dash no more lol

How in the F do you get the head light switch off to pull the rest of the dash out?

The knob has a release style spring which locks on the switch stem
Pull switch and release the knob .

Ya the spring locks into a groove on the shaft if I remember right. I used a small stiff wire and bent a U in it and that did the trick for me. Good luck

Also, don't forget to test your set-up before reassembly. LED's are diodes and only work in one direction.
