Locking Issues

A couple of days ago, out of the blue, my 2002 F350 Crew Cab 2wd started acting up. When trying to use the remote door unlocker, it will not work. The "door ajar" dash light is on. The electric locks inside will not work either.

This has turned out to be a sporadic problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Nothing in my repair manual. Any ideas?

you check the fuses? and has the door plate that has the buttons ever been wet? i've seen melted ones, and ive seen shorted ones, good luck, ive also seen fuses melt and work again and blow again
