Bench seat to 40/20/40... or Modify existing

Hey guys,

So I currently have a bench seat in my stock interior 250 XL. The truck rides extremely rough since both front and back are leaf springs. Currently I have to put a pillow behind me on long drives since there isn't a lot of support in the factory seat. Does anyone know if there is an air-ride seat add-on for the bench seat? Or should i get a newer 40/20/40 setup and see if that makes the situation any better...

Hmm, anyone know of the best place to find the seats? I feel like pick-n-pull could be a little trashy for something like a seat.

probably either craigslist or car-part.com
They usually have pretty good listings for local parts.

are these seats coming out of the 99 body style trucks or something else?
Is it a direct bolt in or do you fabricate brackets? thanks

the 40/20/40 is a factory seat option for the 92-96/7 f series, i think they are hard to find in the yards here tho

They are hard to find in good condition. Every one I see in a yard is shredded at least on the driver's side if not all over. Best bet, as said before, would be craigslist. There's always some seats on there in my area.
