interior swap

i was thinking of building a desert racer and i love the look and feel of 92-97 hd's but i have to build something really cheap to just take off road im wondering if the interior of 88-91 swaps with 92-97 so i can just update an older truck to newer standards, kause ive always loved these trucks

I would think everything should swap over. I think the heater case controls are different, but you could swap the case over. Go with the 92-later wiring, since the speedo uses the ABS sensor, and you can use the newer column. You may need to re-drill some bolt/screw holes, but I think that would be it. Talk to Garrett about it, he's the interior junkie.

I'm sure he's done research though on what will fit, and what won't. The guy probably spends more time at the wrecker than I do.
