manual windows to power window swap

found a set of power doors in good shape i want to buy and swap em on my truck, but what does it take as far as wiring to get the power windows and locks to work? is it just a wiring harness that plugs in under the dash?

The power lock/window harness runs along the firewall just under the windshield (and into the driver's door.) You should be able to drop the dash and extricate it at a u-pull wrecker. It's a bit of a pain to install, but will plug in without any messy splicing or tap connections.

how long of a swap is it? i work 6 days a week and dont want to try to tackle something thats gonna cost me use of my truck for 2 or 3 days. ive never pulled the dash before so it will be a first. Thanks for the info.

Probably take a weekend. Pull the one at the wrecker first, that way you can figure out where all the bolts are, so you don't break anything on yours.
