No in dash is single din so if you want to fit a double din you need to do some cutting.

Or get a flip out.

Ebay sells boxes cheap for our trucks. They are decent boxes too.

i have a flip out in mine. I like it cause it tucks away and hides looks less tempting for a crack head

I have the same truck. I went with a regular pioneer head unit so that I would not have to modify the dash. I used 2 10" shallow mount pionner speakers behind the rear seat. I did not have to move the rear seat foward at all with that setup. The amps are located under my rear seat.

most people put shallows behind the seat, under the seat you sould definitly have to. i have an extended cab but the seat was raised so im building a box to go under it. i just ordered a Kenwood KVT-512, last years model i believe, everyone i talked to said it was good one to go with, and its over a hundred $ cheaper then the 516. single din is the best, then you dont have to cut your dash up. whatever deck you get, get one that has 3 output jacks, that gives you complete control over your system, front, rear and subs. and be sure to do research into everything, deck subs, speakers even wires. or else you do like my dumbass and blow your sub.

I have a 10" infinity in a Q-logic box behind my back seat. I also have a Rockford P300 compact amp. I havent mounted it upright yet, sorry for the wire mess. The rear seat is scooted up one click. My front door speakears are infinity, my rears are pioneers. My headunit is a Kenwood. In all it sounds great. The 10" sub is more than enough bass for me

Anyone tried putting a L shaped box in these trucks?

so take up behind the seat and under it, FOr more feet/SUb ratio?

Where are you guys getting these seats from?

Mine folds down into a metal floor, no room behind, and MINIMAL underneath.

I actually like this arrangement since I often haul my tools back there. But I am on the search for better speaker placements.
