92 F-150 Interior

I was at the wrecker today (scored a tailgate) off of this truck, and I had to grab pictures and post them.

The reason I had to was the color. I have never until this day seen this dark grey in a Ford of this body style. I wanted to take the whole truck (205km, ext cab, 4x4, 5.8l,auto ,amazing condition, started right up,retire your ride victim) but I dont have any extended cabs that I could change the interior in.

It reminded me of z281le's awesome build

Please excuse the quality of the pictures, the only camera I had was my phone.

Yep that charcoal gray color carried over from the 87-91s. Then in 94 you got the lighter gray, called opal gray.

Personally i like the dark gray better, seems to hold up better and doesnt get as noticeably dirty

Damn, If I could find a donor truck that clean in that dark grey I would switch mine over for sure. That looks pretty sharp IMO. And that unmolested dashpad in that truck is hard to find.
