Anyone upgraded from manual doorlocks/windows to power?

I am working on my truck to have more of a luxury feel to the interior. I know i can simply go to a junkyard and get the doors off another 4door, but i am planning on making my own door panels out of fiberglass. has anyone done a conversion? or do i need the power doors for the bolt patterns?

I've been wondering about this too. I don't want to fab anything, but I do want to add power windows and door locks to my 97 xl. I know I could just get the doors from another truck but I'm more curious about the wiring and if I could just get parts instead of swapping doors.

Sorry, not trying to jack. I figured we were both looking for the same thing.
