blower fan only works sometimes, any clues?

I have a 96' f250 pstroke auto that is having issues with the blower fan, the climate dial and heater/ac switch (dial) works fine. There are days that I will start truck (after sitting all night) and turn on blower fan and there will be no power to fan. Truck runs for 20-30 minutes and then blower fan turns on. There are other days where turn on truck (after she sits all night), and the blower fan works fine (has power). Fuses are all good. I pulled apart panel and pulled plug from blower switch and checked with test light. Sometimes there was power and sometimes no power (i am grounded to neg on battery). I also replace the blower fan switch (no luck, cause there was no power coming through harness).

I have power to blower fan and fan works (Check w/ test light and hooked up fan to battery). Trying to figure if there is a short in wiring harness, loose power wires, A relay getting hot and resetting itself (which relay, if it is a relay), or is there a loose ground wire. Anyone ever had this problem and what could be the cure for the curse? Thanks for the help cause winter is coming here in Michigan someday soon, John

im having a problem with my blower motor too so i replaced the motor still nuthin i thought the harness might be bad so i checked the voltage at the plug that plugs into the motor and its at 12 volts like it should be, so maybe the motor i bought was bad i hot wired it to the battery and it works?? so what now? i thought maybe the plug was bad so i clipped the wires on the plug and directly wired it to the motor still nuthin...im stumpped the plug has 12 volts actually when the engine is running there 13.36 volts going to the plug but the motor still mont turn anyone has any ideas

also i dont think its the switch either because when i turn the switch to off theres no voltage goin to the plug and when its on theres 12 volts so the switch is doing its job rite

no its not blowing at all the motor wont even kick on

Sorry it took me forever i was going to say check the relay and the blower motor connector( wiggle test)

I had a intermittent prob with the blower in my 95 also. I found the prob to be a loose connection at the resistor.
