92 F250 ext cab back seat

I have a 92 F250 with an ext-cab. As most of you know that little folding back seat is near useless. Has anyone tried to put the back seat out of a newer 99+ model ext-cab truck in a 92-98 model? The newer seats have higher backs and the bottem is alittle longe too so someone could acutally sit there. I was just wondering if it would fit in my 92 at all. Thanks for your help

Brian

Even if the front seats where moved forward some? Even if there wasn't a whole lot of leg room the big thing is the butt part of the seat is so short my son's car seat don't fit very well if I had a more normal seat it would fit better. I just wanted to see if anyone had tried it. I should have bought a 4-door but I couldnt find a 4 door, 5-speed, 4x4, that wasn't a duelly in the older diesels, and I wasn't willing to go without the 5-speed or the 4x4

i thought about it on my 96 ext. cab so your not the only one. i think the seat is to wide also. if its for kids it may work if it would fit but when they get bigger itd be to tight.
