NEED HELP! how to take the stock radio out
im trying to take the stock radio out but cannot figure it out. how do i do it

You have to buy a tool that goes into the two holes on each side of the unit. It will press down two clips or tabs and allow you to pull it put out.

What he said, and save yourself the grief of trying to make a tool and just go to Walmart and spend 5 bucks on the tools. You may only use them once but they make it so fast and easy its rediculous. I thought I'd kick myself for spending money for a tool I'd only use once... well I've ended up using them several times and I'm glad I spent the money every time I need them.

Notool required... just take a metal coat hanger and cut it into 4 4-6" pc's Stick in the holes. You will have access through the glove box to reach your hand inbehind and push teh radio forward when you get it almost out tilt teh front of it upwards to clear the clip on teh back of the radio...

thanks guys. too bad when i got it all taken out and the new one hooked up it wasnt the radio that didnt work... ha the speaker wires not connected. but thank you
