Sill Plates

Has anyone put together any metal (stainless steel or chrome) sill plates to replace the black plastic ones that break and you can't get the screws out of? I'm gonna talk to a couple of people and see if I can get them to make me a set. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever done this and has pics. Thanks guys.

Just talk about it as far as I know. I gave my neighbor the dimensions last year and he was going to make me some but thats as far as it went.

I found some in LMC trucks catalog, but I'm kinda curious what they look like. The picture kinda sucked.

They're just the oem sill plated from the 80-86 trucks. my 83 bronco has extruded aluminum sills that are exactly the same design as my plastic ones in my 96.
