Mine has been and always will be in the center of my dash. Not where most people place it tho...
Simple double sided tape is what's holding the bracket. Been there since 97

That's my scanner beside it but it was just in there temporarily

What Scanner are you running ?

Mine is up between the sunvisors. Fits nicely, and I can hear really wheel with the integrated speaker.

I like how it looks between the sun visors.

In our old OBS it was mounted at the bottom to the bottom of the dash, close to the brake controller, switch panels, and some other stuff. It was pretty nice there. I'll be getting some ideas from this thread on where to mount mine when i get one.

ive gotta 29 ltd classic and i have a wooden stand that sits bout 5 or 6 inchs tall but there are peices that i cut at a 45 degree angle so it will sit pointing up.ive got mine right below the radio, below the ashtrey, sittin on the tranny hump ide guess you wud call it.build you somthin with a jig saw,i built mine outta pine, ive gotta 500 watt texas star mounted under the seat(lil fire in the wire never hurt).when you get your cb trey built,go to a truck stop and buy you some double sided velcro and stick to the bottom of your wooden try, this is only if you have carpet, that way your cb wont slide to the seat, get you a gear buddy, its a retractable cord that comes with a hook, you can hang your mic off the passenger side sun visor.ill pm some pix,i dont know how to post em on here

I've been wanting to put a CB in for a while now for when im on the road. But i'll have to put it on the dash or between the visors, I've got a brake controller and shifter that keep me from putting it under the dash
