Rear window goes down but won't come up.

The motor pulls in the down position. You can hear it making noise but there is no noise when trying the up position. Also it would only go down with the rear door control. The driver side "master" control will not work either up or down. I took the door panels off and cleaned all connections. From what I've already read in the forums it seems that the motor would still be good since it would move the window down. Would it be the front control panel? Bad ground? Sounds like i have my weekend work cut out for me.

I had a similar problem last year. Both rear windows worked fine with the rear controls but not with the drivers controls. From the drivers controls they would go down but never back up. I pulled the master switch out, pulled it apart and cleaned it up. I noticed that the thin copper tabs that are pushed down to make the contact were permanently bent from 14 years of being pushed down. I gently bent them back with a jewlers screwdriver and they worked fine.
