Sticking temp gauge
I need help fixing my temp gauge. The needle gets stuck sometimes. After I shut off the motor, the next day the needle is still half way on the gauge when the motor is cold. I have replaced new thermostat and new temp sending unit loacted just next to the thermostat. but the needle still gets stuck sometimes. Today when I drove it for few miles the temp needle when back down and works fine. Its just hit and miss when the needle just gets stuck. Is there any other parts I need to replace?
Thanks for any help.

I'd try taking the cluster off and dabbing a little 3'n'1 oil on the gauge pivot point. it migh just be a little bit of crud in there causing it to stick. Also, maybe giving it a good shake while you've got the cluster out. That might loosen any crap that is in there.
