ptp, is that all there is to the Pacbrake kit? It utilizes the Ford factory EBPV, and the actuators just open and close the valve?

yes, switches to turn it on, tap into the brake vacuum line for the solenoid to either hold open or closed with vacuum pressure.
but that's all it does = take over the EBPV
