Hi guys,

I'm not sure where this post should go, but I am going to start here. I have a 97 7.3 that I have been using to move hay and tractors with. I was wanting to get a little bit more power out of it for climbing hills and what not. Currently I already have the strait pipe exhaust, but not much more. Where would you guys start?
Thanks,
JD

Start with gauges and intake system. As well as a 3in down pipe if it still has the flat one. If it's auto make sure you an Trans temp gauge. Other gauges would be egt and boost. Then a custome tuned chip will help greatly

Do a search for diy 6637 intake/filter, very simple, extremely effective.

I 2nd the DIY 6637, if its an auto consider upgrading trans cooler, gauges are a must, canned tunes, custom tunes aren't necessary for a relatively stock truck.
