Electrical problems

On my 95 f350 I am having a rear window that works sometimes but not all the time. I am also having trouble with the power door locks, they do not work at all and when I hit unlock the module clicks that is behind the little compartment in the dash with 3 plugs going to it and the parking lights come on. Can anybody tell me what this module is or tell me what is causing my problems or how to fix them?

the power window sounds like an intermittent power/ground problem. check where the wires run through the door you might find a cracked or broken wire. the rear doors are known for breaking wires. then follow the wires.

do you have an alarm on the truck?

As far as I know it doesn't have an alarm, what for factory theft system is there? Any idea what the black box is that says attention that is clicking?

The '95s (the only year, IIRC) did have an anti-theft option. Arming/disarming information is in the owner's manual. I think it also ties in RKE.

The black box with 3 plugs you described sounds like the rke module, it won't have anything to do with the window, but that may be your lock issue, is it 1 grey plug and 2 black ones?
