My trip.

Well, we're finally at the new residence, stopped overnight in KC and Greenville, IN. Got off to a disappointing start with 11 MPG, but that was running 75-85 through Colorado and Kansas. Slowed it down from Missouri on and mileage jumped to 13.5 where it stayed the rest of the trip. Had the combo loaded to ~13000 and it pulled real nice. Had a tire go down in St Louis, no big deal. All in all I've got no beef with this trip, although I'd like to have actuated my exhaust brake differently. It's wired now to be off, constant on, or on with the brakes. Instead of having it come on with the brakes I'd like to have it come on when I'm not giving it throttle. It still worked really well. Anyone know what the voltage to the IVS is? My AIC was also really nice, I'd go out in the mornings at the motel and fire it up and leave it at about 1200.

Sounds like a fun trip. Where did you move to/from? I think the IVS is 12volt but i wouldn't count on me being right about that. Good luck with the new pad.

We moved from Fountain, Colorado to Akron, Ohio with a visit to Denver on the way out. I'm hoping that the IVS is 12v, then it would be easy to make it work, just need to add a 12v SPST relay to the circuit.
