E4od to transfer case question

When putting the transfer case onto a new transmission do I need to do anything else other than put a new gasket on? And do I put something onto the gasket or just put it on dry?

No you don't need to do anything else and the gasket can go in dry. Did you replace the trans output shaft and transfer case input shaft seals?

I didn't actually do anything yet but I will be soon. I just wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into ahead of time. Should I replace seals though on the transfer case. If I remember correctly one is leaking but not badly. I forget which one it is.
